Weedtrine-D Liquid Aquatic Herbicide [4-Gallons]

Weedtrine-D is a broad range herbicide that controls duckweed, coontail, elodea, naiad, pondweed and milfoil. Results of Weedtrine-D often begin to show in as little as 3 days. There is a two week water restriction after use of Weedtrine-D.

Application of Weedtrine-D:

Weedtrine-D should be applied only to ponds, lakes and drainage ditches where there is little or no outflow of water. Weedtrine-D should not be applied to muddy water, on windy days or when there is signifigant wave activity. Application of Weedtrine-D for (submerged weeds) should be early in the season where submerged weed growth has not reached the surface. Apply Weedtrine-D by pouring directly from the container into the water in strips of 40' apart, this should be approximately 5-10 gallons per acre. You may also dilute Weedtrine-D at least 5:1 with water and apply by surface sprayer if you choose. Use 3oz. Cide Kick activator per gallon of water when using Weedtrine-D with a sprayer. In late season where submerged weeds have reached the surface, you may apply Weedtrine-D in strips of 20' apart with a 2:1 solution. Where algae is present along with submerged weeds, we suggest pre-treatment with Cutrine Plus Liquid before using Weedtrine-D. Application of Weedtrine-D for (floating weeds) such as duckweed is 5-7 gallons per surface acre. We suggest using SONAR as a more effective alternative to Weedtrine-D for use on duckweed and watermeal.
