If you need a pond aerator air compressor pump for aeration, we have a pond aeration compressor that can do the job. Most larger ponds, greater than 1-acre will use a large double piston type pond aerator air compressor pumps, while smaller shallower bodies of water typically will use the small single piston pond air compressor pumps or a diaphragm type air compressor pump.

As a general rule, use these guidelines:
*Small ponds less than one surface acre in size and less than 10' deep, use a small diaphragm compressor
*Small ponds 1 surface acre or less and greater than 10' deep, use a large diaphragm compressor
*Medium to large size ponds 3/4 to 1.5 surface acres or larger and shallower than 10', use a rotary vane compressor
*Medium to large size ponds 3/4 to 1.5 surface acres or larger and deeper than 10', use a small piston compressor
*larger size ponds greater than 1.5 surface acres and deeper than 10', use a large double piston compressor
