The Pond Patrol™ brand of pond bacteria is an "all season" pellet aerobic bacteria formulation that contains (7) species of beneficial pond bacteria, designed for year-round use in koi ponds, fish ponds, farm ponds and water gardens of all sizes. This proprietary blend of bacteria is a multi-purpose aerobic bacteria that will remove excess nutrients in your pond or lake including: ammonia, nitrates and phosphates that when left in your pond or lake will cause an abundance of unsightly algae blooms and/or other unwanted aquatic weed growth.

Pond Patrol™ bacteria is sold in 25lb pails with 1oz. water soluble pellets inside. This makes treating your pond or lake extremely easy and effective. Pond and lakes treated with Pond Patrol™ bacteria are generally treated with an initial dose and then maintenance doses about every 2-4 weeks. However, the "cleaning" process can be accelerated by doubling application rates if you desire. All Pond Patrol™ products are safe for use with animals, plants, fish and people. When comparing other brands be sure to ask what the bacterial count is. Pond Patrol™ bacteria offers one of the highest bacterial counts available at 450 billion organisms per pound!
Application Rates: All bodies of water are treated by surface acres not depth or gallons.
* Initial Dose is (90) 1 oz. pellets per surface-acre scattered around the surface
* Maintenance Dose is (60) 1 oz. pellets per surface-acre every 2-4 weeks depending on your requirements
Note: Apply Pond Patrol™ aerobic bacteria when water temperatures are above 55 degrees. Pond Patrol™ bacteria strains are very hardy and survive cold winters but like all bacteria are most active in warmer waters spring through fall.
Note: It is important that your pond or lake retain at least 35% of its volume between bacterial doses for maximum product effectiveness. If your pond or lake water "flow" rates are greater than this, simply increase your dosage rates to compensate.

* 1/4 Surface Acres = 14 lbs = 1/2 bucket per season

* 3/4 Surface Acres = 40 lbs = 1-1/2 buckets per season
* 1 Surface Acres = 50 lbs = 2 buckets per season
* 2 Surface Acres = 100 lbs = 4 buckets per season
* 3 Surface Acres = 150 lbs = 6 buckets per season
* 4 Surface Acres = 200 lbs = 8 buckets per season
