When selecting a pond or lake air diffuser manifold assembly it is important to match the diffuser assembly with the proper compressor for correct operation of the system. Be sure to note both the minimum and maximum cfm of air of each diffuser assembly. Also be conscious of the cfm of air output at a certain depth that your compressor delivers. Match the cfm of air of your compressor (at operating depth) with the pond or lake air diffuser manifold assembly.

How do diffuser assemblies actually help your pond or lake ecosystem?
Regardless of which diffuser assembly you choose, when pressurized with air, the diffusers will open hundreds of small "slits" to release millions of "fine micron bubbles" into your pond or lake. While the bubbles rise from the bottom towards the surface, they actually create a current and "entrain" or draw un-oxygentated water from down deep towards the surface bringing with it any harmful gases which may be trapped at the bottom of your pond or lake. At the same time, oxygen is absorbed into the water and mixed with the higher oxygen concentrated water near the surface thus creating a much healthier environment for fish and other aquatic life in your pond or lake.
